Lung deformaties?

I have a small deformity that is in my lung tissue and no one seems to understand what it is, it has 3mm in size and it has been called a lung nodule.

Female | 50 years old
Complaint duration: 635 days two years
Medications: cortizoid inhalers
Conditions: COPD

While I can't answer a specific question related to your specific complain, I will give an answer as it relates to most patients. Lung nodules on CT scan of chest is very common and the main reason to follow them is to make sure they are not caused by cancer. Large nodules are usually biopsied and smaller nodules will require careful follow-up with periodic CAT scan examinations.
