Obstetrician and Gynecologist Questions OB-GYN

Medicine related problem?

I have irregular periods and the last time I had my period is 14 December and it ended on 15 December. So I visited a clinic 6 days ago and she prescribed me 3 medicines; sysron-n, dronis-20, and evecare. she told me to take sysron for 5 days, 2 times with the evecare syrup and assured me that your periods will come on the 6th day. From the 6th day, you will take dronis-20 for 24 consecutive days then skip 5 days and again take sysron and the cycle will continue. My question here is how long I have to take these medicines? Also, today is the 5th day and tomorrow is the 6th day. What if my period doesn't happen tomorrow? Do I have to take sysron again for 5 more days? Or leave any days between? Or can I take dronis-20 if periods didn't happen too?

it is best to ask whoever prescribed the medications.
I would do some testing like prolactin, TSH, Insulin free and total, testosterone free and total
Are you overweight, diet and exercise is first-line treatment for irregular cycles
Well, you have a very good question. The Provider that gave you the very complicated regime should answer the question. Frankly, it’s difficult to keep the regime the provider gave you straight in my mind. I lost track after the first 2 days. There are much simpler approaches to your problem.
Sorry. I’ve never heard of any of these drugs before.
I am not familiar with these meds. They may be over the counter or some type of natural meds. If your cycle doesn’t start, consult your doctor again and maybe do a pregnancy test if you are sexually active.
You need to consult with the provider caring for you, they will be able to clarify exactly how they want you to take the medication.
