I have a very small lump in the front of my neck. No pain. Should I be worried?

It’s not normal or nature to have a lamp the front of the neck. So it needs further work up to find out what kind of lamp it is? It can be a lymp node from infection which can be treated with antibiotic. Or it can be a tumor, which needs further work up with Ultrasound and biopsy.
If it is new, it should be evaluated. A very simple ultrasound of the neck which is painless should give some starting answers for example whether it is from the thyroid, a lymph node or something unrelated.
