Post-colonosocopy bleeding

Male, 67, 12 polyps removed during colonoscopy - Patient is on Warfarin...titrated down with lovenox, back up with 2 X Lovenox and 3 X 2mg Coumadin -- Post procedure bleeding on first stool, on Sunday.... More red blood evident on Monday morning.... HOLIDAY today, no one in office.....not sure what to do...

Bleeding could be post-polypectomy or from hemorrhoids. The latter tends to be of lower volume and only happens when passing stool. Larger amounts of blood being passed without stool should be evaluated at the ER or GI office.
Get in touch with the endoscopist, and if you can’t, then head straight to the hospital ER, please.
