Procedure confusion?

In a minor facial procedure using a twilight anesthetic, do most surgeons demand that the patient remove their pants?

It depends on the procedure. For further information, you can visit my website, at Drroya.com. Good luck!
Procedures are normally done in hospital gowns.

If the surgical site is above your waist, there is no reason that you should need to remove your pants. We simply ask that you wear something loose fitting that you are not attached to in case it gets stained.
No
The only concern is that during a procedure with sedation if the patient relaxes due to the sedation they might inadvertently void. You as the patient need to consider that risk and decide what is comfortable for you.
Sometimes it is not the surgeon requesting these types of things, but the operating room due to the sterility of the environment required, for your procedure, or other more important procedures. Hope this helps.
Probably not. It depends on where you have the procedure. Some outpatient surgery units may require this but not in an office operating room. Some office operating rooms are run very professionally, and others are not.
