Related to chickenpox?

I am a 19 year old female patient. I started to blister, then on the left side of the head and face was some sensitivity for 10 days.

Thanks for the question. If the blisters were also on your face, you have shingles, which is due to the chickenpox virus. Ask your doctor about whether you need treatment, or have an underlying stress or disease causing the virus to emerge.
What you describe sounds like zoster or "shingles". If that is the correct condition, yes, the same virus causes both conditions. Shingles is a local flare up of a prior infection with the varicella zoster virus which causes chickenpox.
