I have had vertigo already for 5 days. Should I have a blood test if I have vertigo?

Yes, I would have lab done and especially have your blood pressure checked, sitting, lying down, sitting up again, standing for a certain length of time, etc. All were done under a doctor's supervision and lab orders.
