Should I take an emergency contraceptive pill?

Should I take an emergency contraceptive pill if I had unprotected sex 2 days ago and forgot to take my birth control pill the day before? It is a combination birth control pill that I take every day as consistently as possible, but I am not good at taking it at the same time every day, I probably take it within the hours of 9pm and 2am (5hr window) every day. I only missed the pill the one day right before we had sex, it was not near my ovulation window, and my partner also pulled out before ejaculating. Should I be worried about getting pregnant?

Oral emergency contraception can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex. The earlier it is taken, the more likely it is to work. Below is a link you can refer to for more information. If you are having a hard time remembering or being consistent in taking your oral birth control pill, it is recommended to consider the use of long-acting reversible contraception like IUDs and hormonal implants.
