Should my daughter be seen?

My daughter who is just now 20yrs old and pretty much healthy in all areas of her life and body has a strange thing happen to her.
About 2-3weeks ago she had this thing start growing under the side of her tongue, but it isn't painful in anyway.
Due to the size of it and the length of time that she's had it I'v talked her into letting me make her a doctor's appointment.
Now by this time is just a bit smaller than a dime and looks much like a blood blister.
Well lastnight this thing pops randomly and again there is not any pain associated with it at all.
So our question is...
Should my daughter still be seen by a doctor in regards to this?

yes better safe than sorry
It depends. It is better to have her seen by a doctor just to make sure everything is fine. It might be a blocked artery, vein or salivary duct that poped by itself but it is better to check to confirm
Always consult a dentist with new lesions in mouth that don’t heal on their own within 2 weeks.
The answer is yes she needs to see a doctor immediately in order to determine what is happening.
yes , absolutely
Although this sounds like a hematoma that is benign one can't know for certain. Even if healthy, your daughter should always be on preventive checkups and annual Oral Cancer screening since things can manifest undetected. If a potential lesion becomes obvious after years of manifestation, then more aggressive treatments may be needed rather than simpler ones in the early stages. I hope this helps.
She should still be seen . It probably is a clogged salivary duct. She should go to an Oral Surgeon
Your Daughter’s dentist is hopefully doing a check for things like this, at least, every 6 months when she goes in for her recommended Hygiene appointment. If it has come and gone by then you can take a picture of it and show the dentist so they can decide if it needs to be investigated further or they may ask you to call them if it happens again and make a short notice appointment just so the Dentist can do a biopsy of it and have it tested at a lab. Better to have it checked then let it go and wish you had.

Your daughter should go to the local ER to get it assessed asap. there should be an Oral surgeon on staff to assess. If they cannot help- go to a dental surgeon asap. They will assess and refer to oral surgeon if required.
Yes! To make sure that there is not a hemangioma .
