Sprained?

I sprained my ankle a month ago (grade 2) and I am seeking physiotherapy but the physiotherapy is next month. Will it be too late to do the physiotherapy and will my ankle be the same?

it's ideal to start physiotherapy as soon as possible after an injury, a delay of one month shouldn't significantly affect the outcome. Physiotherapy can still be beneficial in reducing pain, improving range of motion, and promoting healing. However, it's important to follow the recommendations of your physiotherapist and engage in any prescribed exercises diligently to optimize your recovery.

You should see a Dr. first. You might need prolozone therapy to rebuild your torn ligaments.

Start with basic range of motion exercises and gentle stretches for the ankle. It is never too early to start physical therapy as injuries could cause complications due to not being able to use the certain body part. Take it slow with the exercises and listen to your body. If it's too much pain then lessen the load of the exercise.
Hello,

In response to your question regarding your "grade-2 Ankle Sprain," early intervention has the best success of rehabilitation, but the delay of 2 months overall (1-month since injury and the delayed appointment for another month) can still work on the musculoskeletal issues related to the ankle sprain restoration of function to prior level. To be quite honest, the "physiotherapy" practice should be able to get you scheduled within 24 hours, unless you have specific requirements that limit your availability.

Hi,

Physiotherapy should start as soon as possible. After a grade two sprain, you should be able to return fully to normal.
Hi,

Yes, to wait for one more month for PT will be too late after a sprained ankle.
