There's a gap between my new crown and gum line?

I just had a porcelain crown made. The crown feels like it is too short on the inside of my mouth as there is a gap between my crown and the gum line. The dentist said it ok because the tooth is sealed. Should I insist a new crown be made?

That would be up to you. However, this is completely normal as long as it is on the tongue side so it is not a cosmetic issue. It is actually better for it not to come completely down to the gym so you can better keep it clean. Different dentists might do it slightly differently. As long as the crown is properly sealed on the tooth then there is not a problem.
Not necessary to remake it unless you are sensitive if indeed the crown is sealed.
If the crown was just done, it should be your choice if you decide to redo the crown.
It needs to be evaluated clinically. If you are not local, you should get a second opinion from another dentist.
Thanks.
Crown margins above the gum line create a more cleansable area for you when it comes to home care. However, if this is problematic for you, you should have a discussion with your dentist. It does not mean the crown was done incorrectly.
Yes end of crown should be sealed and under gum
I would
