I am a 32 year old female. I want to know what are the disadvantages of spinal anesthesia?

In medicine we always think risk benefit analysis of a situation and medical conditions of a patient. Spinal is a choice that is made by the patient, surgeon and anesthesiologist after discussion of risk and benefits.For example spinal is anesthetic of choice for c section.Side effects can be low blood pressure,headaches, inability to void, prolonged weakness and numbness of legs with slow recovery.Rare side effects can be infection, injuries to nerves and spinal cord and blood collecting around spinal cord. There are risks and benefits of everything but in young healthy people they are uncommon.
