I would recommend getting it, checked by your ophthalmologist or if you cannot get in touch with 1 you're optometrist. It could be anything from a mild infection, foreign body, superficial blood on the surface of the eye, inflammation among several other things. If it is only cosmetic with no other pathology, there is treatment for that, but you should speak to your eye care provider.
