Hi. The most effective medication is oral Fluconazole 150 mg strength one per day for three days in a row. Diflucan is the brand name for Fluconazole. Then an inserted suppository is a second choice. An effective suppository is Monistat suppository inserted once each evening for three to seven days in a row.

Antifungal medication is oral or vaginal. Also, Monistat vaginal. You have to see your primary care physician for the prescription.
