Some of the best therapy is rest. Allowing the disc to relax and come away from the spinal column where it is being impinged upon. After the pain, you want to strengthen the back muscles, take care in how you bend, lift, turn so as not to reactivate it. Chiropractic care, acupuncture is helpful for this. Some of my clients have found relief with CBD creams.
