What can I eat after my first dental implant surgery?

I am a 35 year old female. I want to know what can I eat after my first dental implant surgery?

Eat as normal on the other side after the feeling comes back.
After dental implants, you should avoid eating anything crunchy or that requires a lot of chewing or spicy, especially in the area of the implant. Cool nutritious food. The dentist placing the implants will have post-op instructions with food recommendations for you.
Soft food and don’t chew on the implant area.

Best to stick with a soft or liquid diet and not eat on the implant area.
Hope this helps you.
If you only have a healing cap and do not have an actual tooth, you have few restrictions. Try to eat on the other side. If there is a tooth on the implant, avoid eating in it. You don’t want to put excess force on a new implant.

Hi,

Post-implant surgery, it’s best to stay on a soft food diet! Basically, anything you can squish with the back of a spoon or softer. Soups, smoothies, mashed potatoes, and scrambled eggs are just some examples.
Hope this helps.
I would suggest a liquid to soft diet for the first several days. I tell my patients if you can squish it with a plastic fork it’s good to go. Avoid seeds and nuts ideally. Speak to your surgeon for more specifics.
I tell my patients to eat soft foods on the opposite side. Doing so should not affect the implant stability or prognosis. It's OK to stick with only liquids, but not necessary.
