What do I do if my child has a food allergy?

My daughter has a food allergy. Is it serious? What are the treatment options?

It could be. You need to see your pediatrician to start and if you are in a rulal area she of he might be able to perform the tests necessary to make the diagnosis of what foods she should avoid. If you don’t live in a rural area your pediatrician might refer you to an allergist. A dr that specializes in allergies and immune disorders
Treatment of a good allergy typically means complete avoidance of the food. Definitely discuss this with your pediatrician or your allergist.
