There is not reason to test a well baby for diabetes.
A 2 year old is typically not tested for diabetes, unless symptomatic like increased thirst, increased frequency of urination (wet diapers) or weight loss. If symptomatic, he needs be seen by his pediatrician asap
You should take your child to pediatrician who can do blood test to check for diabetes.

You may check his blood sugar with a glucose meter or take him to his pediatrician to have a blood test and urine analysis.
