-commonly high potassium and high phosphate containing food should be avoided
-plus take low sodium diet
Try to be on a low salt diet. Also, dietary restrictions depend on your phosphorus, potassium, etc. Usually, dialysis pt’s have high potassium and phosphorus and try to be on low potassium and phosphorus diet. also should be on fluid restriction also.
Dialysis patients need to be aware of the sodium, potassium, and phosphorus content of their foods. And, frequent monitoring of potassium and phosphorus levels in the blood monitored through the dialysis clinic will help guide intake of phosphorus and potassium.
You need to avoid high sodium, potassium, and phosphorus. Sodium is mainly table salt and canned foods. Potassium is mainly in tomatoes, potatoes, orange juice, tomato juice, avocado, and dairy products. Your dietitian should be providing you with a list of high potassium foods. Phosphorus is in dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, as well as dark soft drinks except for root beer.

It is not a simple question and can't give you a quick answer. You should talk with the renal dietitian. Every dialysis patient has a renal dietitian who has long standing experience in diet matter related to dialysis.
