In general, you should avoid high fat foods, mainly animal fats. A diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables is preferable. It also depends on how high your cholesterol and triglycerides are. Carbohydrates are high in triglycerides. In general, processed foods, sugars, and foods with chemicals added are not good.
