The only real "fix' for a heel spur is to surgically remove the spur. Heel pain is typically the result of plantar fasciitis and not because of a spur. The best way to get rid of plantar fasciitis is with stretching. If your still having heel pain after doing the stretching for 3 weeks or more, then I would recommend seeing your local podiatrist.
Orthotripsy. The only known resolution for chronic plantar fasciitis (heel spur). High intensity shock wave, 1 treatment will restore the flexibility and blood flow to the band of tissue and relieve your heel pain for good. We never recommend surgery in over 26 years of practice, its archaic. midohiofootandankle.com
