The treatment for internal hemorrhoids is variable. Options span from increasing fiber and water in the diet, to internal hemorroidal banding, to surgery.
Conservative treatment first with nitroglycerine. If that fails, then surgery.
First line treatment is control of constipation. Occasionally, hemorrhoidal banding or even surgical excision is required.
Elastic banding, laser treatment, or surgery. In general, also try to avoid constipation.
