I have varicose veins and will have surgery. What type of anesthesia is used for varicose veins?

It can be only local anesthetic depending on what needs to be done
Most of the time local anesthesia is used
Thank you for your question. Although there are facilities which use general anesthesia, we use just local anesthesia with a mild sedating premedication only. We have found that our patients do very well with this.
