When can I go back to work after polyp removal?

I will have rectal surgery for polyp removal. When can I go back to work after polyp removal?

Depending on how extensive the polyp is and how long the procedure takes but if it is done with a colonoscopy, you should be fine to go to work the next day.
That depends on a number of circumstances. Please check with your surgeon/your primary care physician and follow the recommendations.
Typically you could go back to work after a day or two for a simple polyp removal. If it is a read surgery such as a “trans anal resection” done by a surgeon (not a GI doctor), then it could be a bit longer ,but it should be quick and returning to work should be very fast.

This is best answered by a surgeon rather than a GI doctor. The length of stay depends on many factors, so not knowing the specifics of the location of the polyp, its size, and the planned surgical approach, it is not possible for me to take a guess about when you might return to work.
