Why do my wrists pop when I roll them?

I am a 22 year old male. I want to know why do my wrists pop when I roll them?

It’s your wrist releasing pressure in your wrist. Not harmful at all.
That sound is called crepitus. It is a noise made by the adjacent bones rubbing together. Rolling the wrists can cause irritation to the wrist joints so go easy or discontinue and have the wrists evaluated if there is any wrist symptoms.
"Popping" in any joint is simply a release of gas that has built up within the joint, whether you are moving it yourself or it is being adjusted by a chiropractor. However, excessive popping can be a sign of overuse or instability. You should have the joints evaluated if you feel it is the latter. Simple exercises can be given to strengthen the muscles that support the joint and give it more stability.
There is nitrogen in the synovial fluid surrounding the joint and when the joint is fixated nitrogen forms bubbles around the joint and when the joint is is released by your movement the milliona of these bubbles will pop. This is called cavitation.
Hi thanks for the question. Usually that's indicative of using your arms and hands a lot, maybe you type a lot, or hold heavy things/postures for a long time; These postures will give you tension in the wrists due to the forearm tendons being tight. Assuming there is no pain associated with the popping noise, and that you aren't forcing any movement past what your wrist will allow, this is a typical response of the wrists.

If there are any symptoms such as numbness, tingling, or etc., it would be advised to see a Chiropractor for an evaluation.

Thanks again for the question.

Could be a few reasons. Could have lax joints or joint instability. There are dozens of joints in your wrists. It's not one answer that fits all.

Joints can pop or make other noises when movement is introduced to them. This can be normal and does not necessarily mean anything is wrong.
