“Why won't my lower back pain go away?”
I have lower back pain for 3 weeks. I tried medications, but they won't help. Can a chiropractor help?

Yes, if your pain is due to biomechanical dysfunction, i.e. misalignment of the spine which over time puts pressure on the facet joints and causes pain. After a thorough examination and possibly X-rays to diagnose the problem.
The root cause of your back pain must be found in order to correct the problem and make the pain go away! Chiropractic Physicians are trained to detect and manage Spine and neuromuscular problems, Consult your local Chiropractor.
It can help depending on what caused the back pain. Did this pain come out of nowhere? Was it slow and gradual? Was there trauma related? Those are important to know in order to decide of chiropractic care is even an option. You may need an X-ray or MRI to further explore your issues. Hope this helps, feel free to ask any more questions.
Studies have shown Chiropractic care aka spinal care is the best & most effective way to treat back pain.

Chiropractors are very good at helping back pain. Spinal misalignments are often the cause as well as muscle strains or degenerative or herniated disc's.
I am a chiropractor and see recurrent back pain everyday. I estimate that 98% of my patients vastly improve within a few weeks. Those that don't will then get diagnostics to see if something more serious is going on.
Typically a Chiropractor can help depending on the cause of the low back pain. There are many reasons for it. If the low back pain is due to misalignments of the spine then a good Chiropractor can help. We focus on a gentle and more specific approach with no cracking or popping.
Hi there, thanks for the question.
Yes, chiropractic care can help with lower back pain; however, it would be great to get some more insight as to how this began and what you've done, minus medications, in order to heal yourself. What were you doing 3 weeks ago which incurred this pain? Have you started working out recently? What kind of exercises have you been doing? These are the kinds of questions I'd be asking you when you come in the office.
I hope you feel better soon.
Sincerely,
Dr. Morales, D.C
