Will my toe fracture heal on its own?

I fractured my toe. Will my toe fracture heal on its own?

Generally, yes. Unless it is displaced or if the fracture is into the joint.
Generally toe fractures if in good position can heal on their own. An X-ray is usually a good idea to assess the damage. Best treatment is a surgical shoe.
It depends on the type of fracture.  You should have a X-ray to see if the fracture pieces are well positioned.Kathleen Neuhoff, DPM.
If the fracture is not displaced and you stabilize it to the adjacent toe, it can heal. But I would recommend seeing your local podiatrist.
As long as the fracture is within 3-5mm of the bone it should heal uneventfully. If after 6 weeks there is still pain with walking or shoes then you should have it x-rayed for possible fusion of the fracture or removal of the fragment.
Hi! I would have an x ray taken and see the type of fracture. In general, many times with taping the bone will heal in 6-8 weeks.
It depends on the type of fracture, location, and amount of injury...please consult your local podiatrist.
Toe fractures will usually heal if they are stabilized. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle specialist (podiatrist) for diagnosis and treatment options.

It depends on whether it is displaced or not and the type of fracture. See your doctor.
