Are massages done at home less effective?

I am a 25 year old female. I was wondering are massages done at home less effective?

I have always found that having a massage on a surface other than a professional massage table, is less effective. It limits the therapists ability to apply pressure and technique effectively. If a loving massage is done between spouses, the loving touch compensates for the professional application.
Depends on the therapist and if they have the tools they need, if they need it. But no a location should change the effectiveness.
Quality massage, done at the home or in a clinic, is effective in both settings.
No, they are not less effective depending on the location of your massage.

Usually when you go to a massage office the therapist has other modalities they can use.
