“At what age is a child fully vaccinated?”
My daughter is 11 years old and has had several shots. I want to know at what age is a child fully vaccinated?

Hello
At 16, kids get the meningitis booster and Tdap booster. There are 2 HPV shots in between and then the flu shot every year. So she’s almost there!

Usually by 17 years old. The initial series of shots are 2 months, 4months 6 months, 12-15 months, some offices 2 years, 4-5 years
old (for entry into school), 11-12 years old (Tdap, MCV4, HPV), 16 years old (Men B- 2 doses), MCV4 booster shot is 5 years after the first one. This is assuming all of the vaccinations are given on time.

NO one is ever fully vaccinated. Tetanus booster need to be done every 10 years Annual flu vaccines are recommended for everyone. As we age pneumococcal and shingles vaccines are recommended. Your 11 year old needs a Tetanus pertussis booster before 6 th grade a meningococcal vaccine before 7 th and 12 th grade 2 doses of Human papilloma virus should be given before age 14. Meningococcal B vaccine is recommended to prevent sporadic cases of meningitis beginning at age 16. If this pandemic has taught us anything it is that vaccines save lives and the lack of them can lead to disaster
