I am a 33 year old male. I have a gap between teeth. Can I use rubber bands to close my gap?

Please do not attempt DIY orthodontics. It can cause irreversible damage such as bone loss, gum disease. It can affect the ligaments around the teeth and cause your teeth to loosen up. You also do not want to keep non FDA or ADA approved materials in your mouth long term because it can make you sick

It might be possible but chances are you are going to create more problems for yourself and spend much more money later on to get it corrected. For example, are you going to tip the teeth, loosen them, or open other gaps. I would recommend professional treatment!
