Can a chiropractor help babies sleep?

My 2 year old is having trouble sleeping more than an hour at a time. Can a chiropractor help babies sleep?

Maybe. It depends on the reasons that your child is not sleeping. There are many factors involved. You should find a qualified health care professional who will take a detailed history and perform a thorough examination before treating. A chiropractor is a good place to start. If the chiropractors cannot help, they should make an appropriate referral.
That’s one of the most common reasons we see babies in the office and thankfully with great success.
Chiropractic adjustments help children of all ages. The birthing process is very traumatic to the infants spine, causing subluxations of the spine from birth. The chiropractic adjustments help realign the babies spine, which will relieve pressure on the nerves. Your child should sleep like a baby once the subluxations are corrected. I have had patients tell me there child slept through the night for the first time after only one adjustment.
Yes. Just make sure the chiropractor that you see has been trained to work with infants.
Yes, chiropractors have found that, multiple problems with behavior and sleep in children could be traced back to a subluxation in the child’s spine. A chiropractor can correct those subluxations through a light adjustment to the spine in order to restore full function to the child’s body, allowing him or her to sleep and behave as they should.
Yes! We help babies and toddlers sleep all the time. Many times the baby is in a state of stress and their body is not able to calm down. In a sense, they feel like a bear is in the room and they can't relax enough to sleep. With a specific assessment of the spine and nerve system. The chiropractor can find the misaligned vertebra and by performing gentle adjustments to the spine, it resets the nerve system into a state of rest, repair and growth. Allowing the baby to sleep.
Yes
Chiropractic can align the baby's spine which will allow full function of their spine and nervous system. This may translate to improved sleep. I recommend finding a Chiropractor who is trained in Pediatric care and Cranial Therapy.
