yes.
Acupuncture can provide help with headaches. Acute headaches can be helped with just a few treatments, while chronic headaches take more treatments to get significant impact.
Hello, thank you for reaching out. Yes, acupuncture can help with acute or chronic head aches. Since it's been its own medical system for over 2,000 years, Acupuncture can address any health aliment that is not an emergency. In my clinic, I also practice an additional modality where we can go a bit deeper and see if there is a common allergy, nutritional deficiency or many other imbalances could also be contributing to the symptoms you are experiencing.
Thank you,

Hello,
Sorry to hear about your headaches, any type of pain is sure to disrupt ones daily activities. Acupuncture does help with relieving headaches. It depends on what type of headache it is. With chronic headaches, you may need to come in a few times during the week before starting to feel some relief and then, it becomes almost a maintenance to control the condition. It is best to see and speak with the doctor to find out the history of your headaches in order to plan out the best treatment.
Thank you,
Farnaz

Thank you for your question.
First, it is important to have a medical evaluation by a physician to assess why you have headaches. There are lots or reasons and treatment should be according to cause.
In general, Acupuncture can be helpful for headaches, but again, the appropriate treatment is based on cause.

Yes, but it depends on what you do or don't do to make them better. First of all, have you seen your doctor or gotten an MRI to rule out anything more serious? If so, your diet may be to blame. Oftentimes, some known allergen causing foods can cause migraines. Have you been tested for Celiac disease? If you are female, issues with the period and hormone levels can be problematic. Dehydration or too much caffeine can often be the culprit. Stress, lack of exercise, poor sleep or tight neck muscles can also cause headaches.
If you have taken an honest stock of your activities/habits and have made the suggested lifestyle changes, then yes, acupuncture can help. The migraines can often resolve over time if you make these changes. Good luck!
