If your knee pain is chronic, you will need multiple sessions per week for a period of time. Then you can decrease sessions to once a week once it is under control. You need a private consultation to discuss your pain issue.
It certainly can help with knee pain, but like everything else, each person is different. Also, some things need to be repaired by western medicine. I would check with a local acupuncturist to find out if they could help in your case.
Yes, acupuncture helps knee pain by increase your energy near knee and reduce the swelling and pain.

Usually, yes.
As with most pain conditions, more information would be helpful to determine the region of pain and for how long it's been occurring. Acupuncture can be helpful for most mild to moderate pain and if effective, you should see results within 6-8 sessions.
Hi! Good afternoon sir.
I think your chronic knee pain that come from other reasons. The most things is heart & stomach problems. Because the heart & stomach channels flow around the knee. When knee arthritis is mild or moderate, a limited number of sessions produce very good results. In addition, acupuncture can provide short-term pain relief until knee replacement surgery is performed.

Acupuncture can reduce the pain in your knees. We are seeing many patients with different knee conditions such as: arthritis, meniscus tear, and post-knee replacement surgery. Most patients report some pain relief following their acupuncture treatments.

Absolutely! Acupuncture helps knee pain by increasing circulation to the area, decreasing inflammation and boosting the immune system to heal quicker than it normally would.

I have used acupuncture & acupressure for knee pain with success. However, it should be noted that with chronic conditions they usually take longer to treat & heal. Double check with your primary if acupuncture may be suitable for yourself and discuss the treatment plan with your practitioner.

The best thing about knee pain is that we do not need too many needles to help. So for this condition, patients are usually VERY comfortable.
Acupuncture is excellent for all pain related conditions. In most cases, a reduction in pain is experienced after the first session.
Hope this help! Do not hesitate to ask any additional questions.

Acupuncture can help reduce inflammation and improve mobility in joints, so in a shorter answer YES it can help. But if the underlying condition is from structural/tissue damage such a torn meniscus or from a tear in the cruciate ligaments then you'll probably need surgical repair.
Hello, Yes absolutely. Knee pain has multiple pattern diagnosis in Chinese Medicine, your Acupuncturist will scan all your systems head to toe , by asking you lots of question, and will be able to determine your diagnostic pattern that is related to your knee pain. Sometimes with musculoskeletal issues its good to find an acupuncturist who is trained in Orthopedic Acupuncture as well. Hope that helps.
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, acupuncture can help with knee pain. I have helped many people with this issue, Sometimes it is more difficult to treat when it is chronic and arthritic with bone on bone. There have been many studies that support acupuncture as a treatment for knee pain. Here is one of many studies...note that it does conclude that there is only short-term pain relief in patients with chronic knee pain due to osteoarthritis. Your situation would have to be evaluated...you are young, so, without actually seeing you, I would say that it could be very effective:

Hello & thank you for your question! Yes, acupuncture can help with chronic knee pain! Typically, in conjunction with acupuncture, I use an electrical-stimulation machine in order to further enhance the effects of acupuncture. Keep in mind: you will likely need a series of treatments based on how long you have had the knee pain for. Generally, chronic conditions may take 8-12 treatments; however, everyone's healing process is different, so there are exceptions to these guidelines.
Yes, acupuncture can reduce the knee pain but we also need to figure out what causes the pain. It might be combined with other treatment plan like lose weight if the pain is caused from over-weight.
Yes. So long as you are seeing a licensed or certified acupuncturist and complying with their treatment protocols, acupuncture can be very effective in treating knee pain.
Yes it does, I have worked with a long list of patients who have had knee pain alleviated and even eliminated with acupuncture alone.
