yes, acupuncture can help your skin .
Yes.
Yes. I encourage you to book a session with your practitioner of choice to get help with relief.
Yes definitely.
It depends on what the problems are and what's causing them. Most of the time, skin issues are because your Liver can't handle all the detoxing, so it send the pathogens to the skin, or you are ingesting something you're allergic to, or you're using something on your skin that you're allergic to.
Acupuncture and herbs can help skin problems.
Yes. But I'd probably include some herbal therapy, some diet recommendations and perhaps some lifestyle changes as well, all within our scope of practice.
Yes, acupuncture can help your skin. There are many reasons that people suffer from skin conditions. There is generally an imbalance that acupuncture can treat to help skin disorders. Sometimes Chinese herbal formulas are added to help balance the body and clear the skin.
In most cases, yes.
Acupuncture has many applications. By using the paradigm of diagnosis which applies to the art and science of acupuncture, a licensed acupuncturist will assess your skin issue(s) and provide the appropriate facial and body acupuncture. A Diplomate of Oriental Medicine or a doctor of acupuncture will also suggest other therapies as needed to help with your issue.
It's important to determine the underlying causes, such as allergies or causes of localized inflammation first. Acupuncture facial rejuvenation has also been used to lessen the appearance of fine lines on the face and can be quite effective.

Yes, acupuncture can help the skin. The needles stimulate production of collagen and also reduce inflammation.

It can, however it depends on how you react to treatment. Everyone is different. Some see results within a few sessions, others it takes longer. Treating skin issues is not about focusing only on the surface, it’s also internal. What you’re eating and stress levels have a lot to do with what shows on the skin and “comes out”. I hope this answers your question.
Yes. Acupuncture can help with many skin issues. A well rounded approach considering food choices, herbal and aromatic medicine support, potential medication side effects, and environmental factors may need to be evaluated for best results.

Acupuncture can assist in cell regeneration and help balance out anything that is out of balance. That being said, it cannot "fix" skin conditions in and of itself. As you know, I am sure, diet plays a HUGE part in the condition of your skin. Food allergies can inflame the skin and cause breakouts, rashes and so on, so finding out if you are allergic to anything should be first on your to-do list. Making sure you are well hydrated and well-rested will affect how your skin looks. Stress can aggravate acne, dermatitis, psoriasis and other skin conditions but usually there's another underlying condition at play.

I'm sure you have tried all of the creams, prescription topicals, etc, but if you don't get to the root of your trouble, it will probably just keep happening. So acupuncture can help with skin issues if you adjust your diet (if need be), get enough RESTORATIVE sleep, plenty of water and work to reduce stress in your life. Even still, it won't happen overnight. Making the aforementioned lifestyle changes and re-evaluating your skincare routine, over time, along with acupuncture you should see changes in your skin. Good luck!!

Hello & thank you for your question! Yes, acupuncture can help with skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and more. Herbal therapy is extremely helpful for skin conditions, along with some dietary modifications that your practitioner will suggest based on your particular case.
I have worked on a few patients with dermal issues with great success. One of them specifically took a few months to treat, about half a year. Their particular condition was very dramatic and emotionally rooted, but eventually they were fully clear. Another only took a few treatments. Their case was more acute in nature and so more easily resolved.

It is all a matter of your particular case.
Hello! Yes, it can. We called it, "Cosmetic Acupuncture," in our field.

Yes, it can.

Be well, be confident, we can help.
Generally, yes, acupuncture can help skin conditions. It sometimes matters exactly what kind of skin issue a patient might have.

I usually get good results for issues like acne or itchy rash. For things like eczema or psoriasis, it often takes more treatments or herbal medicine to bring things under control.

For the best results, and especially if you're considering herbal medicine too, it's important that you see a provider who is licensed as an acupuncturist in your state. If you aren't in CA, you can use the "Find a Practitioner" lookup at NCCAOM.org to get a list of local providers.
