Yes, the results are influenced by your condition. That means people respond differently.
Yes, I treat chronic fatigue often. Getting gluten out of the diet can often help, as well.
Absolutely. I have seen many patients with this or the fatigue associated with fibromyalgia... and they respond very well indeed.

Each benefit of acupuncture and herb remedy treatments has a marked effect on a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome symptom . Acupuncture and an herb remedy treat this illness by reducing the level of harmful hormones in the body; restoring the balance of hormonal regulation; reducing stress, anxiety and tension; regulating a distorted immune function and promoting body detoxification.

Yes, acupuncture can improve the body’s circulation and the communication between the organs, helping to improve the patient's pain and fatigue.

I am a 30-year-old male with chronic fatigue syndrome. Can chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) be treated with acupuncture?

Absolutely YES!!!

In the US there are 1 million people with CFS.
Women are 4 times more likely to be diagnosed with CFS than men.

Acupuncture, is an amazing system that treats the physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual aspect of the human. Since this condition is rooted in the energetic, emotional and spiritual bodies this medicine is very effective with it.

Had a patient which came for the CFS, after a series of treatment the chronic fatigue as well as muscle pain disappeared. She is now enjoying a normal active life.
Combination of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture is the best approach.
That is difficult to answer with certainty. First of all, it is not known what causes chronic fatigue, so there is no pat answer regarding success rates. However, in Chinese Medicine, we would not look necessarily the Western Diagnosis, but symptoms and patterns exhibited. If the practitioner does a thorough workup and accurately makes a diagnosis based on tongue and pulse diagnosis along with symptoms, then acupuncture can be helpful with several treatments over the course of at least one month (in my opinion), I say this because it takes awhile to bring the body to a state of homeostasis given that a chronic condition didn't get that way overnight. If you would like some more information regarding acupuncture and treatment of CFS, do some research or come in for a visit. You can book an appointment on this website. Good luck!!
Hello, thank you for reaching out. Yes, acupuncture can help with chronic fatigue syndrome. Acupuncture can address any health aliment that is not an emergency, since it's been its own medical system for over 2,000 years. In my clinic, I also practice an additional modality where we can go a bit deeper and see if there is a common allergy or endocrine issue that is also
contributing to the symptoms you are experiencing.

Thank you,

Thank you for your question. Your inquiry is not a simple yes or no. I work with those diagnosed with ME/CFS by other physicians or providers. In my experience, it is a misdiagnosis as the cause of the fatigue has not been identified correctly. It takes some real digging and a physician who is willing and knowledgeable to do this. Fatigue is a sign something is wrong. Yes, acupuncture has the potential to help balance this. But, it is an integrative and accurate understanding of what caused the fatigue that helps to heal ME/CFS.

Kind regards,

B
Chronic fatigue can be addressed with acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. An evaluation will be performed with the patient to determine the direction we need to choose to create a personal treatment protocol.

Yes acupuncture can help as a part of the treatment, but herbal medicines would be a better avenue with quicker results.
Yes acupuncture can help you
Yes. Acupuncture can help to increase your energy levels and also treat poor sleep, poor memory, poor concentration, headaches, and joint pain all associated with CFS.
I have had very good success treating chronic fatigue with acupuncture. Your practitioner would have to make a differential diagnosis as to what is the root cause from a Chinese medical point-of-view. Once they have that it is a matter of time.

It will take a few treatments and maybe a few months to get it under control depending on how severe your case is, then it should be maintained with regular interval treatments. Your practitioner may also prescribe herbs, foods, or other lifestyle habits that could assist you further. I know that one of my patients started coming in with an energy level of 3, leaving with energy level of 5. In time she would come in at a 5 and get to a 7. When we had her at a 7 consistently we were able to reduce treatment frequency as foods, rest and lifestyle balanced.

Find a licensed acupuncturist in your area (L.Ac) and be sure to work with someone you feel comfortable with. If you don't like your first choice, you can find others but the medicine will help in the long run.

Good luck.
