I am a 43 year old male. I feel like my hearing improved. Can hearing improve over time?

Interesting question. So, if you have hearing changes caused by temporary issues such as eustachian tube dysfunction (negative pressure on the eardrum) than the hearing can certainly fluctuate due to those changes. Typically, the human ear does not improve over time. Youre young to have hearing changes anyway, so if youre concerned, go ahead and schedule a hearing test with an audiologist!
Typically no, but if you had an infection or something that caused a temporary hearing loss, hearing would improve after that was cleared up. Another possibility is some wax in the ear shifted and created an opening that you may be perceiving as an improvement.
