“Could we have been exposed to coronavirus?”
My family and I went on a cruise near Japan 2 months ago. We don't seem to have caught anything, but were we exposed?

You may have been, but when testing for prior infection is widely available, you may want to ask you doctor if you should be tested for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. It might be nice to know if you have already developed some immunity.
Thank you for your question. Given the long time following your travel and all of you family travellers were fine since then- I think it is unlikely that you contracted coronavirus infection during your cruise.
It is extremely unlikely that you were exposed to the coronavirus in Japan two months ago; as far as anyone can tell, it did not exist there at the time. Furthermore, the incubation period is probably no longer than about 14 days, so you would have been sick within two weeks of returning. You don’t need to worry about it.

Thanks for your question. As long as no symptoms were bothering you and your fellows, I do not think that any of you have been infected with coronavirus {CoV19-19).
