Do nearby teeth move after a root canal?

I am a 41 year old female and I will have a root canal for a tooth. Do nearby teeth move after a root canal?

No a root canal itself will not cause movement of the nearby teeth. Movement of nearby teeth is more likely to occur after an extraction (removal) of the tooth.
