Root canal therapy is like everything else. When done correctly by someone with skill and training the results are almost guaranteed. Problems can arise but they are really few and the alternative is extracting the tooth and replacing it with a dental implant. Leaving an empty space caused significant bone loss and your other teeth will shift.
