“My son is prone to eczema in winters. Will it be a lifelong condition?”
My son ends up with itchy and dry skin, and has eczema around his ears, mainly in the winter. Will this be a lifelong condition for him or can it be treated with time?

Most children have improvement of their eczema by school age. If it is caused by allergies it is more likely to persist but mainly on the flexural areas. Keep his skin moisturized and cut back his fingernails to prevent scratching
Most of the time children outgrow this. Some have improved when they stop consuming milk and milk products.
