“Heavy Nasal Congestion ”
I have very heavy nasal congestion sometimes throughout the day with no other symptoms like cold or flu or allergies no medications. It just comes on when it wants to and is very hard for me to breathe especially through my nose, no drug or alcohol abuse and a little tobacco use about a pack a week.

There are many caused of nasal obstruction. The common ones include nasal septal deviation, swelling of the sidewalks of the nose sometimes caused by allergies chronic irritation or sinusitis, nasal polyps and rarely others masses amongst other causes. It is hard to tell what is going on without a full history and physical. I would recommend getting seen by a local ENT that can do a full exam.
Many factors can contribute to nasal congestion, a comprehensive ear, nose and throat evaluation with nasal endoscopy can be very helpful in diagnosing and treating the root cause of your nasal congestion.
