Sinus problems and headaches can be attributed to a subluxation, i.e., misalignment of the occipital condyles, the first or the second cervical vertebrae or a combination of the three. Nerve irritation caused by one or more of these articulations can lead to your problem. The chiropractor will simply realign those areas to relieve the nerve irritation.

Since the nose has nerve roots in spine at C1/2 level, pressure, and problems associated with sinuses, may very well be helped with Chiropractic care.

The SCM muscles and the side neck muscles are often tight, so the eustation tubes cant allow the flow of left over mucus. Upper neck adjustments with massage, or acupuncture to some key face points and LI4, in the web of the hand, are successfully used as well. You could also just try to put Halls mentholatum right behind the jaw, under the ear area (I bet it's tender there), and under nose at night.
Depending on the training of the chiropractor, they may do an upper cervical adjustment to help reduce sinus pressure, use manual therapy techniques to help drain the sinuses, use instruments that can help relieve sinus pressure, or suggest natural remedies for home care that help reduce pain and pressure. Make sure to ask the chiropractor what they will specifically be doing to address the sinus issue.
Depending on the cause, they may be able to help you with your sinus pain and pressure. They should take a detailed history and perform and examination to determine what is going on, then make appropriate treatment recommendations.
I would recommend going to a Chiropractor who specializes in Craniotherapy techniques, such as SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique). These Chiropractors can manipulate the skull and facial bones to relieve sinus pressure.
