My wife's cholesterol is high. Will this affect her pregnancy?

My wife recently underwent a complete blood test that showed her cholesterol is on the higher side. Is this likely to affect her pregnancy?

Cholesterol is elevated in normal pregnancies
It should not prevent her pregnancy.
It is best to have normal cholesterol and eating a low-fat diet is a good idea. Her cholesterol levels will probably not directly affect her pregnancy.

Hi,

This will not likely affect her pregnancy. However, for her own health and wellness she should focus on reducing fatty foods in her diet and incorporating moderate exercise into her daily routine.

No, slightly high cholesterol does not affect pregnancy. Just make sure she starts eating a healthy diet and stays away from fried foods.
Usually not as long as BP is normal and she has no cardiac problems. Also, check her thyroid levels as an under active thyroid causes cholesterol to go up.
