“Are hot flashes during urination normal?”
I am a 29 year old woman and I have suddenly been experiencing hot flashes whenever I go to urinate. The normal urge or sensation associated with urination is now replaced by these hot flashes. Is it temporary or the sign of a serious health condition?

Hot flashes are not associated with urination. This is not necessarily a serious health problem but I would seek the advice of a uro- gynecologist.
The symptoms you are describing can sometimes happen if you hold your urine longer causing the bladder to expand more than normal. And then finally when you urinate it might be causing a vasovagal reaction which you may be describing as hot flashes. If this continues please see your primary care doctor.

You are young at 29yrs. Hot flashes are never related to urination except if there are goose skin reactions. Now I need to know further about your menstrual cycle and what medications you have been taking prior to hot flashes. Do you use FP?
That is quite unusual. It could be an atypical symptom of infection, but may be a sign of other pelvic issues. You should see your gynecologist for evaluation.
