I have severe skin pigmentation on my arms and I was wondering if I should look into skin lighteners for treatment. How do skin lighteners work and are they safe?

You need to see your dermatologist to what the cause is of your pigmentation. Lighteners work chemically to reduce the appearance of pigmentation. Vitamin C may help as well.
