It's best to see a dentist and have an X-ray taken to see the roots and what is holding the tooth from coming out. Depending on what the X-ray shows will determine what is needed to remove the tooth.
Hello,
You need to see a dental professional. Dentist will check your medical history first to make sure you are safe during extraction. You will be numb first and extraction. They will give you post op instructions and medications accordingly. You also might need some medication before pulling out your tooth. So, please consult with your dentist before doing anything

You may have periodontal problems (gum and bone) which may not be a localized issue, the tooth could be broken, there could be localized trauma . Please see a dentist for a thorough exam and determine what problem and potential solutions. It is for peace of mind and overall health.
Good afternoon,
Great question. Usually for any adult teeth that need to be extracted, they need to be properly removed by a dental professional.
Thank you,
Cynthia

Probably not a smart thing to try to take it out by yourself. Sometimes a loose tooth is actually a tooth broken just under the gum line. It’s better to have a dentist take an X-ray to determine if the entire tooth is loose or just the crown.

You should see a dentist to determine if that is the appropriate treatment for the tooth (sometimes they can be saved!) and to have them perform the procedure for you, so you don't end up doing any damage to yourself.

The easiest way would be go to the dentist and have it extracted. ANd then find out what was the reason it was loose. I recently had an 72 year old woman come in with a complaint of a loose tooth. She has cancer in her jaw. No pain, just loose. She will now have a section of her jaw removed. Best to have regular check ups
