Tinea capiti is usually treated with prescription antifungal medication taken by mouth for 1 to 3 months. Thank you.

Please be sure it’s actually a fungal infection. But most dermatophytes are treated with topical antifungals
Treatment is best by prescription. See a doctor. Let them confirm the problem and they will issue you a prescription. It is usually a cream that goes on the lesions.
