How long do antibiotics take to work on tooth infection?

I am a 33 year old male. I want to know how long do antibiotics take to work on tooth infection?

It takes about 72 hours to reach full effective blood concentration of antibiotic to show results.
Usually you should feel significantly better 48 hours after starting an antibiotic. It is important to take it as prescribed, though. If you discontinue it when you feel better, the infection may return and be worse.
The course is 7 to ten days and it start working within 24 to 48 hours. But just know that if you have an abscess your tooth may need a root canal, not more antibiotics.
