I'm 35 years old, and I need to have a tooth extraction next week. How long does it take to recover from a tooth extraction?

2-4 days to a week
Usually, it takes three to 10 days for the area to feel better. You can return to normal activities after 24 hours.
I guess you need to define recover. Bleeding should stop in a healthy person in one hour. Pain medication should relieve any discomfort and normal activity should be able to resume the next day.
Everyone has varied experiences. If it is an impacted wisdom tooth or if it is a broken tooth the recovery time varies. Recovery can only be one day – 4 days depending on the complication of the removal.
