I am a 30 year old male and I will have jaw surgery. How long is hospital stay after jaw surgery?

Typically our patients would stay in the hospital for one night and go home the following day. There are cases where it would be safe for you to go home the same day, but that depends on the specific procedures being done.
It is up to the surgeon. All my patients go home next day after the jaw surgery.

That would depend on the extensiveness of the surgery. Extractions are “out-patient” while reconstruction surgery will require 3-5 days of recovery.
